Welcome New & Returning RFTC Swim Team Families!

We are looking forward to the 2026 swim season! This is the first of weekly pre-season emails that share information relevant to every swim family. We appreciate you taking the time to read it through!

New this year - Swimtopia!

We are happy to announce we will be using Swimtopia for team management!

Swimtopia will replace emails, Remind and SignUpGenius for: Meet RSVPs, volunteer shift sign up, and communications.

All swim families will need to create a (free!) account through Swimtopia before the season starts. We will provide more information and instructions on or before Swim Team Kick Off (May 17th).

Team Fees

Swim Team fees are $150 per swimmer <15 years old and $50 per swimmer ≥15 years old.

Youth Privilege Holder families: please pay your swimmer(s)’ registration fee on or before Opening Day (May 17th) at the RFTC Pro Shop. Please inform the staff member you are paying swim team fees. They accept cash or credit card. Pro Shop hours are available on its webpage: The River Forest Tennis Club - Pro Shop.

Member families: your RFTC account will be billed after the preseason practices.

Team Swimsuits

• The second and final try-on date is Sunday, May 3rd from 2-4pm at the RFTC Clubhouse.
• If you’re new to competitive swim, it is strongly recommended you try-on a swimsuit before ordering because sizing is different from recreational swimsuits.
• This year’s swimsuit is the same design as last year. Swimmers may choose to wear a green or black swimsuit of their choice instead of the team swimsuit.
• The team swimsuits, along with additional team swag, are purchased online via the Webstore.

• The store is open for two timeframes:
  • For orders to be delivered before the first meet: now through Tuesday, May 5th at 9am.
  • For orders to be delivered after the first meet: Wednesday, May 6th - Tuesday, May 19.
• Goggles and swim caps can be purchased from anywhere and are also available at the RFTC Pro Shop.

Swim Team Kick-Off Meeting

• Sunday, May 17th from 3-4PM on the RFTC lawn

• During the kick-off meeting, swimmers and their families will meet our coaches, vote on a team mascot, review the schedule, and hang out with fellow swimmers. T-shirts and team gifts will be handed out to swimmers as well.
• Please do your best to attend or ask a friend to pick up your team swag for you!

Season Schedule:

• Pre-season practices begin on Tuesday, May 26th.
